Our story as so many others started with a dream, commitment, and passion.

DormFIN was established and founded in 2010 by Director Duane Dormehl Viljoen back in South Africa. His passion for the industry formed the very foundation he prides himself in today and that passion is protecting the future of families and loved ones in case of disability, illness, and death.

The years of dedication and commitment combined with this passion only further cemented the goal of one day starting a firm overseas and building the company he prides himself in.

DormFIN New Zealand was established in 2017, where he learnt the way of the trade and built strong relationships with all the major insurance houses in the land. Thus, being able to offer his customers the best value and tailor made insurance solutions in the business.

We see our customers as our family and part of DormFIN’s Foundation. We dedicate our time to provide our customers with a personal, tailormade and a solution driven experience.
